Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a non-contagious skin disorder that most commonly appears as inflamed swollen skin lesions covered with silvery white scale. Among several types of Psoriasis, there is Plaque Psoriasis, which is characterized by raised, inflamed (red) lesions covered with a silvery white scale. The scale is actually a buildup of dead skin cells. There is also Guttate Psoriasis characterized by small red dots of psoriasis, which may have some scales.
| M.M.R. from Washington had this to say: I am a beliver! I had psoriasis for most of my life. I had tried many remedies, drugs and UV treatments but my psoriasis never really went away or came back after finishing the treatment. I was so glad that Kalawalla worked by taking a few pills a day and I am happily surprised that my psoriasis is not coming back! |
Here is how it goes:
Your immune system in your skin is designed to protect you from cuts and bruises. If a bacteria happens to enter your skin, your immune system (the T cells) will send a signal to other T cells to start a ferocious attack on the foreign invaders. If the bacteria happens to cause some damage to your skin, the T cells will also send a chemical signal (called Cytokines) to your skin cells letting them know that some damage has happened and they need to regenerate and heal.
So how does psoriasis start?
In psoriatic patients, the immune system has become off balance. Something (a trigger) has caused the immune system of the patient to start sending false signals (Cytokines) to the skin. The skin then believes that it has been under attack and needs to rapidly regenerate in order to heal faster. A regular skin cycle, from the time that a new cell is born, grows, matures, reproduces and finally dies takes about 28 days. In psoriatic skin, the cells are reproducing in such a hurry, that their complete cycle takes merely 5 days rising up to the surface faster than the neighboring unaffected skin. So this is where the plaques come from! This is the real reason behind the swelling, the scaling and the plaques. One of the messengers often used by T cells is TNF (a kind of Cytokine). Excess TNF is well known to cause inflammation, swelling and redness in the skin. These are other common symptoms in psoriatic skin and is again caused by the off-balanced T Cells. Even more unfortunate is the fact that T Cells usually call more T Cells (to help them control the false attack), causing the snow ball effect, spreading the psoriasis to other parts of your skin in your body.
So where does the terrible itching comes from?
Its actually very simple. The itching comes from bacteria that lives in your skin. Everyone has a healthy amount of non pathogenic bacteria and microorganisms growing in their skin. But as with any other environment, once there is an overproduction of skin, there is more food for the bacteria that lives in your skin to thrive on. So you have an over-population of bacteria, which is the real reason behind the itching. Some unscrupulous or simply ignorant businesses will sell creams and ointments as psoriasis treatments, that do little more than clean your skin, sooth and eliminate the bacteria at the same time; such as anti fungal - antibacterial soothing creams, lotions and oils. This will temporarily sooth psoriatic skin by eliminating the excess bacteria, giving a false sense of 'healing'. Unfortunately this is only a temporary and most of the time the psoriasis will come back, sometimes even stronger because the real reason behind the psoriasis, the off balance T Cells, has not been treated.
So how does Kalawalla help psoriatic patients ?
Its really very simple. Kalawalla will regulate your immune system. It will restore the T Cell balance, preventing them from sending all of the erroneous messages to your skin. Once this balance is restored, your skin will begin to grow normally again. This process takes an average of 2 - 4 months, but since you are treating the root of the problem, and not only the symptoms, you will obtain significant permanent results. Once you immune system is balanced again, there is no reason for your skin to grow at a rapid pace, so the plaques will stop. Once the plaques stop appearing, there will be no more excess skin for the bacteria to thrive on and the itching will permanently go away. Your T Cells will not produce any excess TNF also, so the swelling, redness and inflammation will stop. This is a promise from us that we mean to keep, and even Guarantee.
What about the triggers?
Triggers are the onset of situations that lead to the immune system imbalance. Most often the main trigger is stress or a stressful event. It is strongly suggested that to prevent another psoriasis onset, you should try to avoid any triggers (such as excesive stress) that may have caused your psoriasis in the first place. No one really knows the reason why the immune system goes off balance all of a sudden, but one thing is for sure, the only way to treat psoriasis is at its origin, by regulating the immune system back to its normal function again, and the only way to prevent any recurrence may be avoiding these triggers.
Psoriasis may cause stiffness, pain, and joint damage. Scalp Psoriasis affects half the people who suffer from Psoriasis and is characterized by inflamed lesions covered by silver scaling in the scalp.
Here is what Rachel F. from CT had to say: Great Product! After about two months my psoriasis in my arms, scalp and in between my toes has almost gone! I can't be happier. |
